A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Detroit The Detroit Shipping Company truly exceeded my expectations. The location is unique: a creative mix of repurposed shipping containers, transformed into a trendy urban hotspot. The crowd is diverse, giving the place a laid-back, almost festival-like atmosphere. What stood out the most were the various food vendors and shops offering a wide range of culinary delights – from Asian street food classics to inventive burger creations. In the evenings, the vibe is simply 'very enjoyable,' with live music adding to the experience. The blend of cool surroundings, great food, and a relaxed community vibe makes Detroit Shipping Company a perfect spot to spend time and soak up the moment. Summary: Trendy spot with great vibes and amazing food – definitely coming back!

Detroit Shipping Co. is one of the first food hall experiences we’ve had here! There’s a large selection of various cuisines such as Thai, Indian, Mediterranean, Mexican and a coffee and ice cream shop upstairs. There’s lots of seating inside and outside for warmer months. They also have live music and special events. Fun for groups, date night or even if you just want to go grab food alone.

There's really cool events at this venue, and there's so much variety for food options, I'm not sure if I've seen something like it before. I REALLY recommend the birrira ramen and the pineapple cider. My friends also had the ice cream and it was amazing as well!

Incredible Detroit Shipping Company is a fantastic food hall-style spot with a great mix of dining options, bar areas, and both indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, making it a great place to grab a bite and hang out. We tried dishes from Motor Burger, Halal Street, and Takitos, and everything was delicious. Each vendor brought something unique to the table, offering fresh and flavorful meals that didn’t disappoint. From Motor Burgers we enjoyed the motor burger and fries, spring rolls from Momo Cha, Birria Ramen, Al Pastor Nachos, Variety of Tacos from Takitos and fries from Halal. What really stood out was the incredible staff—friendly, attentive, and truly committed to making the experience enjoyable. Honestly, the service alone is enough to bring us back, and the great food is an added bonus. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Detroit Shipping Company is a super cool and unique spot! There’s a bunch of different food options there and I went with Bangkok 96 Street Food and tried their Pad Thai Roll. It was absolutely delicious. I got it with chicken and had it medium. Medium had a nice kick but it wasn’t that spicy in my opinion. It pretty much was like a sushi roll so I ate it with chopsticks and it was great. Love the vibe and atmosphere and definitely will be going back to try the different restaurants there!

Everything I had from Taquitos AF was delicious! From the nacho fries, to the horchata, to the tres leches cake everything was great. I thought about the horchata all week I'm back 3 days later!

A great place for an evening with some friends. There are a few food vendors open and bar on the main floor. There is some indoor seating for bad weather days and some outdoor seating as well. There was not any live entertainment when I was there but there is a stage so they probably host events. If you're not sitting at a table to eat you can play one of the different game options available to pass time.

My son and I stopped here on a Saturday afternoon to grab something quick to eat. The place was fairly packed but easy to walk through. Our food didn’t take long at all, we were there for about 15 minutes total. I love how they have the self order thingy and the atmosphere was welcoming. We walked around and explored the place a bit, he was the only child there lol but we still enjoyed ourselves. Would be a perfect date night or friend outing though!
